PDF design

Make your invoice, quote and reminder PDFs match your brand. Two settings pages control the look, and one style applies to all your documents.

• Logo en kleur (logo and colour): your logo and brand colour, the basis of everything.
• Factuurontwerp (invoice design): the design studio where you style the document itself, with a live preview.

Logo en kleur

Go to Instellingen and open Logo en kleur. This page sets your brand identity:

• Display name: the name customers see, if it differs from your registered company name.
• Brand colour: pick any colour, or start from one of the presets. This colour is used on your invoices, quotes, emails and website. A warning appears when a colour is too light to stay readable.
• Logo: upload a PNG, JPG or SVG. For photo-style logos there is a one-click background remover. No logo yet? Generate a simple one from your initials and a background colour, right on this page.
• Live preview: a sample header shows your logo and colour together, so you see the result before it reaches a customer.

Changes save automatically.

Factuurontwerp

Go to Instellingen and open Factuurontwerp. This is the design studio for your documents: every control on the left, a live A4 preview on the right that updates as you click.

The quickest route is the Genereer uit mijn huisstijl (generate from my brand) button: it builds a complete design around the brand colour you chose under Logo en kleur. Not happy? Probeer andere (try another) cycles through different looks. Everything stays editable afterwards:

• Startpunt (starting point): six style presets: Klassiek, Modern, Botanisch, Atelier, Editorial and Blanco. Changing any option afterwards turns the design into your own custom variant.
• Accentkleur (accent colour): your brand colour is offered first. When you have a logo, colours sampled from it appear as ready-made swatches. There is also a set of curated shades, and a custom picker for any colour.
• Papiertint (paper tint): white or one of the soft off-white tones (Crème, Greige, Zand, Mist).
• Lettertype (typography): a heading font (Marcellus, Playfair Display, Fraunces or Cormorant) and a text font (Inter, Lato or EB Garamond).
• Thema / indeling (theme and layout): the overall arrangement of the document, plus the density (Compact, Normaal, Ruim). The Botanisch layout has optional decorative artwork you can switch off.
• Voettekst (footer text): the line at the bottom of every document, for example your KVK number or a thank-you note.

Changes save automatically and show in the preview within a moment. Want the standard look back? Thema uitschakelen returns your documents to the default design.

One style for all documents

The design applies to every PDF MyCompanyDesk creates for you: invoices, quotes and payment reminders. You style it once; every document type stays consistent.

Language

Document PDFs are available in Dutch, English, German and French. Documents from a Dutch workspace are produced in Dutch by default, so the labels on your invoices (like "Factuur" and "Vervaldatum") match what your customers expect.

Logo tips

For the best result on PDFs:

• Format: PNG with a transparent background works best; JPG and SVG are also accepted
• Resolution: at least 300 pixels wide
• Shape: landscape or square logos fit the layouts best
